Thank yous don’t usually come due til after 12/25, but after the welcome turn in the addressing of holiday cards this year, I’m feeling most grateful a few days early. On Friday, three of five cards were correctly addressed (Noga-Henderson or Henderson-Noga family)

and today, 100 percent were. (OK, so we only got one today.)
I also broached the subject with one of the earlier offenders. Wisely I withheld my indignation, and it turned out she hadn’t realized I used my own name, she said. Problem identified, problem addressed, problem solved. If only health care and climate change were so simple.
I also got a lovely e-mail in response to my recent GT Woman piece, plus kudos from my son’s school principal and another acquaintance. Hurrah and fa la la la la.
